The Australian Open will continue to deliver with the help of SafetyCulture

16 December 2022 — The Australian Open is set to join forces with SafetyCulture once again, as the innovative Australian tech company comes on board for its second year as the Official Workplace Operations Partner.
“For several years now, SafetyCulture has supported our operations team with much of the behind-the-scenes effort required to bring the Australian Open to life. We’re delighted that they will continue to help us improve our game off the court and help support our ongoing initiatives to grow the Australian Open” said Craig Tiley, Australian Open Tournament Director.
“Tennis Australia shares SafetyCulture’s passion for the role that technology can play in improving processes, outcomes and experiences. Together we’re working towards delivering what we hope will be the biggest AO yet.”
Tennis Australia has set an ambitious target of 900,000 fans through the gates at Melbourne Park over the three weeks of the tournament.
SafetyCulture’s technology has been used by Tennis Australia for a wide range of operational activities since 2017, including improving court servicing, general safety checks, training ballkids and contractor onboarding.
SafetyCulture’s micro-training product, EdApp, will also be used across several functional areas, including online training for the 300+ AO Ballkids and retail staff members. SafetyCulture’s tech has already enabled the team to complete over 14,000 training courses.
